一般動詞②　三人称単数（He plays / Does she…?）

① 文法のポイント

主語が「I」「you」以外の1人・1つのとき（he, she, my boss, the bus など）、一般動詞の現在形には -s や -es をつけます（三単現の s）。 ・He works at a bank. ・She speaks Japanese well. 疑問文は Does で始め、動詞は原形（もとの形）に戻します。 ・Does he live in Tokyo? — Yes, he does. / No, he doesn't. 否定文は doesn't ＋ 動詞の原形です。 ・He doesn't drink alcohol. ※ よくある間違い：Does he lives here? のように s を二重につけないよう注意しましょう。

  • He works in downtown Tokyo.

    彼は東京の都心で働いています。

  • My colleague speaks three languages.

    私の同僚は3言語を話します。

  • Does your boss know about this?

    上司はこのことを知っていますか？

  • She doesn't eat spicy food.

    彼女は辛いものを食べません。

  • The train arrives at nine thirty.

    電車は9時30分に到着します。
