比較②　more / most・as … as

① 文法のポイント

長い単語（expensive, important, useful など）の比較級・最上級と、同等比較（同じくらい〜）です。 ① 長い単語：more / most を前に置く（easy → easier のように -y で終わる語は -er） ・This hotel is more expensive than that one. ・English is the most useful language for my work. ② as ＋ 原級 ＋ as「〜と同じくらい…」 ・This tablet is as light as a notebook.（ノートと同じくらい軽い） 否定の not as ... as は「〜ほど…ではない」という意味になります。 ・My town is not as crowded as Tokyo.（東京ほど混んでいない） ※ よくある間違い：as ... as の間には比較級ではなく原形（原級）を入れます（× as faster as）。

    兄は父と同じくらいの背の高さです。

  • Online shopping is much more popular now.

    ネットショッピングは今ではずっと人気があります。
